Integrated Insect Screens for Roller Shutters
Insect screens can be incorporated into all roller shutter types—front-mounted, top-mounted, and flush-mounted systems. The mesh is rolled up by a spring mechanism into the interior of the roller shutter box, keeping it neatly concealed when not in use.Due to the system’s design, the maximum dimensions of roller shutters with an integrated insect screen are subject to size limitations.

Ideal for large glazed openings such as balcony doors, terrace entrances, and winter gardens, the DK-MP sliding frame insect screen offers smooth, reliable protection against insects while maintaining unobstructed views.
The screen glides effortlessly between the upper and lower running rails. In the lower section, a built-in roller mechanism allows precise adjustment of the panel’s tilt angle for a perfect fit. A wide range of running rail options enables installation on virtually any type of door, offering flexibility for different architectural setups.
For added convenience and durability, the system is equipped with a brake to slow the panel’s movement at its end position, and a bumper to prevent impact with the running rail.

For added versatility, you can select from three lower profile options—standard, flat, or sloped—allowing easy, unobstructed movement. The side-opening version can be manufactured in sizes up to 4000 mm x 2700 mm, accommodating even large openings with ease.

Engineered primarily for window installations, the vertical pleated insect screen uses a spring-assisted mechanism in the lower guide for effortless movement. The tension elements are discreetly concealed beneath a dedicated masking profile, which allows easy pushing or pulling whenever needed.
The vertical version can be manufactured in sizes up to 2300 mm x 2000 mm, making it suitable for a variety of window types and dimensions.
